It seems like every day we’re waking up to a new snow storm here in New England over the past week and a half. The kind of weather that makes you want to just cover yourself in blankets and get caught up in a new Netflix series (or a good book!). It also calls for something warm to drink. And as much as we love a classic hot chocolate, we also love a good warm cocktail!

Here’s Liz from FloatingKitchen.net, sharing with us a Warm Pomegranate + Red Wine Punch recipe. Perfect for both a brisk winter night, and a Sunday snowstorm alike!

Ingredients

1 (750-ml) bottle dry red wine

2 cups Powell & Mahoney Pomegranate

1 orange, thinly sliced

2 cinnamon sticks

2 whole star anise

1 teaspoon allspice berries

1/4 cup brandy

Directions:

In a saucepan over low-medium heat, gently warm the wine, P&M Pomegranate, sliced orange, cinnamon sticks, star anise, and allspice berries for 20-30 minutes. Do not let the punch come to a boil. Stir in the brandy.

Ladle the punch into serving glasses. Garnish with additional cinnamon sticks, if desired. Serve immediately.
