For the Sparkling Cranberries:

1 cup fresh cranberries

1/2 cup Powell & Mahoney Lemon Sour Mix

1/2 cup granulated sugar


For the Cocktail:


3 oz whiskey

1.5 oz Powell & Mahoney Lemon Sour Mix

1.5 oz cranberry juice




To make the sparkling cranberries, add the cranberries and P&M Lemon Sour Mix to a shallow bowl. Let the cranberries soak in the P&M Lemon Sour Mix for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Then strain the cranberries, collecting and reserving the P&M Lemon Sour Mix (you can use it for making the cocktails). Spread the granulated sugar out onto a large plate. Add the strained cranberries and roll them around to coat them in the sugar. The sparkling cranberries can be used immediately, or transferred to an airtight container and stored in your refrigerator for about 5 days.

To make the cocktail, add the whiskey, P&M Lemon Sour Mix and cranberry juice to a shaker with ice. Shake and then strain into a fresh glass with ice. Garnish with a few sparkling cranberries. Serve immediately.
